Understand more of your Reading and Listening answers

Review supported Reading and Listening tests with answer reasoning, passage evidence, synchronized transcripts, and replay controls that help you understand—not just count—your mistakes.

A score tells you how you performed. The improved review experience is designed to help you understand why, so the next practice session can target the right skill.

Reading: connect the answer to the passage

Open a completed supported Reading test and review each question beside the relevant passage. Explanations identify the correct answer, describe the reasoning that leads to it, and point you back to the useful evidence in the text. For supported choice questions, you may also see why the option you selected does not fit.

This makes it easier to distinguish between a vocabulary gap, a missed qualifier, and a question-type strategy problem instead of treating every wrong answer the same way.

Listening: replay the moment that matters

Supported Listening reviews include a synchronized transcript alongside the recording. The active line follows the audio as it plays, and selecting a transcript segment jumps to that moment. Use it to replay a name, number, distractor, or change of direction that affected your answer.

Question explanations add the reasoning behind the correct response, so you can compare what the speaker said with what the question required.

How to use the new review

1. Complete a supported Reading or Listening test. 2. Open the full question review from your results. 3. Select a question to compare your answer, the correct answer, and the available explanation. 4. In Listening, replay the relevant transcript segment and listen for the exact clue.

Explanation and transcript coverage depends on the individual test. Questions without enhanced material still show the standard answers and review information.
